What Is the Zodiac Sign of Hello Kitty?
That little cat, you know, the one they call Hello Kitty. She’s on everything these days. My granddaughter, she just loves her. Got her on her lunchbox, on her pencils, even got a big ol’ stuffed one in her room. She’s always asking, “What is the zodiac sign of Hello Kitty?” Now, I ain’t never been one for them star signs, but the young’uns, they sure do love ’em. She asked me, “Grandma, what is Hello Kitty’s sign?” I tell ya I didn’t know what to say!
So, I did what any good grandma would do. I went and looked it up. Turns out, this Hello Kitty, she’s a Scorpio. Now, I don’t know much about these things. But I hear tell that Scorpios is… well, they’re somethin’ else. They say they’re strong and they keep to themselves. Keep their secrets, you know? Don’t like to let folks in too close. This Hello Kitty, she seems kinda sweet though, don’t she? Always got that little bow on her head, and she never says a darn word. Just a little smile. Doesn’t seem like she’d be the type to keep secrets, she is so cute.

This whole zodiac sign thing, it’s a lot, ain’t it? They got all sorts of animals and things for each sign. Like, you could be a lion, or a fish, or even a crab! It’s all tied to when you was born, they say. Like, if you’re born in January, you might be one thing, but if you’re born in June, you’re somethin’ completely different. I heard people say, “What is the zodiac sign of Hello Kitty?” everywhere! Seems like people really want to know.
They got these things called birthdays, too. Like, when you was born. This Hello Kitty, her birthday is November 1st. That’s how they figured out she’s a Scorpio, I reckon. They got it all written down somewhere, I s’pose. My granddaughter, she told me all about it. She’s got all these little characters she likes. There’s this one, Kuromi, I think it’s called? She’s a Scorpio too, they say. Apparently, this Kuromi likes spooky things, and Halloween. Kids these days, they like all that spooky stuff. I do not know why.
And there is another thing, they say Hello Kitty is like a Cancer, which is another one of them star signs. They say Cancers are sweet and they like to listen. Maybe that’s why that Hello Kitty is always smilin’ and never talkin’. She’s just listenin’ to everyone’s troubles. That’s what they say these Cancers do. Be a good friend and listen. Seems like Hello Kitty is a good listener, indeed.
Here’s a list of some of them other characters and their birthdays. My granddaughter, she knows all of these:
- Heysuke – January 1st
- Picke Bicke – January 1st
- Button Nose – January somethin’
There is a pair of them called Lala and Kiki. They call them the Little Twin Stars. They say even though they’re twins, they might have different signs. That’s what they say. It’s all very confusin’ to me. But the young’uns, they seem to get it. It is like a mystery.
Now, this Hello Kitty, she ain’t just a picture on a lunchbox. They got her in cartoons, and they got all sorts of things with her on ’em. They even made up a whole story about her! They say she likes to play the piano and read books, and she bakes. She seems like a busy little cat. They say her birthday is November 1, just like that lady who made her up, I think her name was Shimizu. Sounds Japanese. So, “What is the zodiac sign of Hello Kitty?” You can ask anyone, they will tell you, Scorpio.
It’s all a bit much for me, if I’m honest. But it makes the kids happy, and that’s what matters, I reckon. They like to figure out which one of these characters they’re like, based on their birthdays and these star signs. It’s like a little game they play. It is so popular, this Hello Kitty thing. And this “What is the zodiac sign of Hello Kitty?” I hear it everywhere. Maybe I should learn more about it, just to keep up with my granddaughter. She’d probably like that. Maybe I’ll ask her to teach me more about these Scorpios and Cancers and all them other signs. Who knows, maybe I’ll even figure out what mine is. Wouldn’t that be somethin’?
So there you have it. Hello Kitty is a Scorpio, born on November 1st. But she’s also kinda like a Cancer, they say. It is confusing but it is fun. If you want to know more, you can look it up. I am sure you can find it somewhere. Just like I did. For my granddaughter. Because that’s what grandmas do. We try to figure out these things for our grandkids, even if they don’t make much sense to us. We just want to see ’em smile. And this Hello Kitty, she sure does make a lot of folks smile, don’t she? She must be doin’ somethin’ right. She must be a really good Scorpio, or Cancer, or whatever she is. She’s a good little kitty, that’s for sure. I think she is a good example.
