Well, gather ’round, y’all, let me tell ya ’bout this here Wild Unknown Tarot. It ain’t your grandma’s deck, that’s for sure. Folks say it’s all mysterious and deep, but I’ll tell ya, it’s just pictures, plain and simple, though some of them are kinda purdy.
Now, this woman, Kim Krans, she made these cards. I reckon she spent a good long while drawin’ all them critters and plants and whatnots. Animals, you see them everywhere in this deck, which ain’t bad. Animals are good and honest, not like some folks you meet.
The cards, they got all sorts of meanings. Like, there’s this one card, looks like a bunch of cups spilled over. Folks call it the Five of Cups, and they say it’s about bein’ sad. Real sad. Like when your prize-winning pumpkin gets squashed by a runaway tractor. That Theresa Reed lady, she knows a thing or two about bein’ sad, and she says this Five of Cups is the saddest card in the whole dang deck. Grief, she calls it. Says it ain’t neat and tidy like some folks think. I guess she’s right. Grief’s like a messy kitchen after a big family dinner – stuff everywhere and you just don’t know where to start cleanin’ up.

- Animals Everywhere: Lots of animals in this deck, more than people I’d say. Bears, birds, snakes…you name it, it’s probably in there. I ain’t complainin’ though, animals are usually better company than people anyway.
- Nature’s All Over: This deck, it’s full of trees and leaves and such. Makes me think of walkin’ in the woods on a crisp autumn day, the smell of pine needles and damp earth in the air.
- Simple Pictures, Deep Meanin’: The pictures, they ain’t fancy, but they make you think. They kinda stick with you, you know? Like that song you heard on the radio that you can’t get out of your head, even if you don’t know the words good.
Then there’s this card called The Unknown. Now that one’s a real head-scratcher. It means the universe ain’t ready to spill the beans yet. You gotta be patient, like waitin’ for biscuits to rise in the oven. Don’t go rushin’ into things, or you’ll end up with flat biscuits and a burnt tongue. Just wait and the answers will come, sometimes they don’t come though, not for years and years.
Some folks been usin’ these cards, called Tarot cards, since way back when. They got all these rules and symbols, like little black stars in the corners and stuff. I don’t pay much mind to all that fancy stuff. I just look at the pictures and see what comes to mind. It’s like lookin’ at clouds, sometimes you see a bunny, sometimes you see a dragon. It’s all in how you look at it, ain’t it?
The Wild Unknown Tarot, it’s like a window into somethin’ bigger than ourselves. Somethin’ wild and mysterious, like the deep woods or the night sky. It ain’t gonna give you all the answers, but it might help you ask better questions. And sometimes, that’s all you need. Just a different way of looking at things, a different way of askin’.
This deck ain’t for the faint of heart though. It’s got some dark cards, some scary cards. But life’s like that too, ain’t it? You gotta take the good with the bad, the sunshine with the rain. And sometimes, you gotta face the darkness to find the light.
I ain’t no expert on Tarot, mind you. I’m just a plain ol’ woman who’s seen a thing or two. But I reckon this Wild Unknown Tarot, it’s got somethin’ special. It’s a deck that speaks to your soul, if you’re willin’ to listen. It reminds you that there’s magic in the world, even in the everyday things. And that sometimes, the best way to understand the unknown is to just jump right in and get your hands dirty.
So if you’re lookin’ for a deck that’s a little different, a little wild, give this Wild Unknown Tarot a try. Just remember to keep an open mind, a strong heart, and maybe a good cup of coffee by your side. Because sometimes those cards, they can take you to some strange places.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got some chickens to feed.
