Alright, let’s talk about this Tarot movie, you know? I went and saw it, and I got some things to say. Don’t expect no fancy talk from me, I’m just gonna tell it like it is.
So, this movie, it’s about these young folks, college kids I reckon, and they find this old deck of tarot cards. Now, I ain’t never messed with them cards myself, seems kinda spooky to me. But these kids, they go messin’ around, and wouldn’t you know it, they stir up somethin’ bad.
The whole thing is about a curse, you see. Each card in that deck, it’s got some kinda monster or somethin’ attached to it. And these monsters, they start comin’ after the kids, one by one. It’s like, they draw a card, and then whatever’s on that card comes to get ‘em. Scary stuff, let me tell ya.

- The Bad Stuff: Now, some folks sayin’ this movie ain’t nothin’ new. They say it’s like that other movie, Final Destination. I guess I can see that. Lots of folks dyin’ in weird ways, you know? And some of them kids, well, they ain’t exactly the sharpest tools in the shed. You don’t feel too bad when some of ’em get it. That’s what they get for messin’ with things they don’t understand. Plus, the way they talk about them stars and cards, it ain’t quite right. I know a little bit about horoscopes, and this ain’t it. They done messed it up real good.
- The Good Stuff: But hey, it ain’t all bad. Some of them monster things, they pretty creepy. They got this one fella, the Hangman, he’s real spooky lookin’. And the way folks die, well, it’s kinda… creative, I guess you could say. Keeps you on the edge of your seat, wonderin’ who’s gonna go next and how. And even though I ain’t a fan of them messing with the stars and cards the way they did, it was still kinda interesting to see how they tried to put it all together. It makes you think, you know? Makes you wonder if maybe there’s somethin’ to all that stuff after all.
The story goes like this: these kids go to some old mansion, and that’s where they find the cards. Seems like that mansion’s got a bad history, somethin’ to do with the cards themselves. And once they start usin’ them cards, well, that’s when the trouble starts. Each card they draw, it’s like they’re sealin’ their fate. One kid almost got away, hidin’ in an elevator, but that curse, it’s a powerful thing. It finds you no matter where you hide.
Overall, this Tarot movie, it’s a mixed bag. It ain’t the best horror movie I ever seen, but it ain’t the worst neither. It’s got some good scares, some jumpy parts that’ll make you spill your popcorn. But it’s also got some problems. Them characters ain’t always the brightest, and the story, well, it coulda been better. But if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to watch on a Friday night, somethin’ to give you a little bit of a fright, then this movie, it might just do the trick. Just don’t go messin’ with no tarot cards after you see it, you hear?
I heard some folks sayin’ it’s supposed to be appealin’ to everyone, but I don’t know about that. Seems more like a movie for folks who like them horror flicks, you know? The kind of people who enjoy seein’ monsters and folks gettin’ it. That ain’t everyone’s cup of tea, but if it’s yours, well, you might get a kick out of this one.
They tried to make it sound all fancy with the astrology and the cards, but it ain’t that complicated. It’s just about a bunch of kids who messed with somethin’ they shouldn’t have, and now they gotta pay the price. Simple as that.
So, would I recommend it? Well, that depends. If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ deep and meaningful, somethin’ that’s gonna change your life, then this ain’t it. But if you’re lookin’ for a good ol’ fashioned scare, somethin’ to make you jump and maybe even scream a little, then yeah, give it a watch. Just don’t say I didn’t warn ya.
And remember, stay away from them old houses and them creepy cards. Nothin’ good ever comes from messin’ with that kind of stuff. You just listen to your grandma, she knows what she’s talkin’ about.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about monsters and curses has made me hungry.
